General Information and Explanation about the Godex HD830i CS:

The Godex HD830i CS is an extra-wide 8-inch thermal label printer with an automatic cutting unit and is also available as the standard HD830i without the "sheet cutter." These HD830i printers from Godex are equipped with a very robust metal cabinet and an external roll holder. The standard external roll holder is suitable for rolls with a maximum outer diameter of 254 mm, which, combined with the width, provides unprecedented capacity. The printer is equipped with a unique patented dampening technology to print large labels stably, with the print quality being minimally affected by the pulling and pushing of the roll with a width of up to 255 mm. As a result, the Godex HD830i always prints with optimal quality.

This printer is ideal for printing very large labels where flexibility in print length is required. The Godex HD830i CS operates with a print resolution of 300 DPI, suitable for barcodes and small text. The print speed of this label printer is up to 102 mm per second. The maximum media width for this HD830i CS is 230 mm with a print width of up to 219.5 mm. The 3.2-inch color touch display can be tilted up to 15 degrees, making it easy to configure and operate the printer. In addition to great ease of operation, the printer is equipped with many standard connections, which can optionally be expanded with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a parallel port.

Due to the large size that the Godex HD830i CS can handle, it is widely used in warehouses, factories, and for logistics processes. The Godex HD830i CS prints both on Thermal Direct media and Thermal Transfer media using a Transfer ribbon (TT ribbons). The Godex HD830i CS uses TT ribbons with a core diameter of 1 inch (25.4 mm) and a length of up to 300 meters. The maximum width of the transfer ribbons for this printer is 220 mm.
